In Tableau, multidimensional data sources are supported only in Windows.
Multidimensional data sources contain hierarchies.
For example, your database might contain a Product dimension
that includes members such as product family, product department,
and so on organized into a hierarchy, or you might have a Time dimension that
includes years, quarters, and months.
